July 3 2013
Back on May 14, we invited David Dye to Milwaukee to host a special taping of the World Cafe at the Harley-Davidson Museum with Black Rebel Motocycle Club. The session was held in the motorcycle storage room inside the museum. For those who weren't lucky enough to get an exclusive invite to this session, this is your lucky day. World Cafe will be airing the session with Black Motorcycle Club on the 4th of July at 6pm (CST) on 88.9FM.
"Along with a stripped down live set, the veteran rockers will explain how frontman Robert Been's late father inspired their new record, Specter at the Feast. Then in the second hour, stick around for a visit from Galadrielle Allman, who talks about her father Duane Allman and the new box set retrospective of his career. And enjoy a patriotic celebration throughout today's show, as David spins a selection of songs about U.S. states, from Wilco, Eric Clapton, and more."
So make sure you tune in on Independence Day at 6pm on 88.9FM and online at radiomilwaukee.org for this special performance. In case you miss it, the show will air again on Sunday morning at 6am.
