Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Rokia Traoré’s Beautiful Africa will be released in the US on September 24, 2013. The record, which was released internationally earlier this year to critical acclaim, was produced by English musician John Parish (PJ Harvey, Eels, Sparklehorse) - via Nonesuch

That's what her label had to say about her new album, but I wanna say I am a huge fan of Traore. Her voice is so rich, so grounded and so due for something new. Her last real release, 2009's Tchamantché, was an amazing slice of just the rootsy-est afropop. Showcasing her subtle-yet-powerfully earthy voice to an incredible degree. Well I finally got the new single for her latest project, the title cut for the forthcoming album Beautiful Africa  (Sept. 24th on Nonesuch Records) and it's pretty fresh.
