While tracking through the Imaginary Cities album (their debut) I came across a song called "Mexico." Could it be a cover of the Cake gem on "Prolonging the Magic?" Yes, and it was very good, with dual vocals and neat keyboards to take the place of the horns. It brought us many smiles. And Cake.
