The inaugural Concert 4 MACC, a benefit event for Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (The MACC Fund), has secured Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons and Hugh Bob and the Hustle to co-headline an evening of music, charity and community. Los Colognes, from Nashville, TN, will open the September 26 show at Historic Turner Hall Ballroom in Downtown Milwaukee.

U2 Does A Beyonce And Releases A Surprise Album, Songs Of Innoncence, For Free

It looks like Beyonce has started a trend by releasing a suprise album. One of the world's biggest bands, U2, just dropped a new album without notice via their website. The album, Songs Of Innocence, was produced by Danger Mouse, Paul Epworth (Adele, LCD Soundsystem, Glass Animals), Ryan Tedder, Declan Gaffney and Flood.  The album was recorded in Dublin, New York, and Los Angeles. 

Daft Punk Portrayed In The French EDM Inspired Film 'Eden'

In a new film called Eden, the French director Mia Hansen-Løve tells the story about the rise of the French electronic music scene in the 1990s through the eyes of a young producer/DJ by the name of Paul played by Félix de Givry and his friends. Two of those friends happen to be Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter better know as the 'robot' duo Daft Punk.  Eden also features music from the famous duo.

In the first hour, we had brand new music from Flying Lotus' forthcoming album You're Dead! The track features one of the country's best MC's Kendrick Lamar. Then we whipped our hair for the surprising new track from Willow Smith, which is a cover of King Krule's Easy Easy. Plus, we played new music from Souls of Mischief, Kindness, Homeboy Sandman, and The Neighbourhood featuring rising star Raury.

  • Field Report - "Home (Leave The Lights On)"

Today, Milwaukee's Field Report and Sylvan Esso (with Milwaukee ties) released music videos.  Sylvan Esso just put on an amazing sold-out show at The Pabst Theatre and Field Report will have an album release show on October 22 at the same venue.  

Field Report released the video for his song "Home (Leave The Lights On)," which was directed and edited by Milwaukee's Black Box Visual. The video was show in scenic Door County, Wisconsin, and it features Field Report's Chris Porterfield driving an old blue Ford F100 truck.
