Tosa Boy Scouts Rehab Patient Courtyard

High school freshman Paul Gagne is one step closer to becoming an Eagle Scout.

Over the weekend, he and about 30 members of the Wauwatosa Boy Scout Troop #21 renovated a patient courtyard at the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division that had fallen into disrepair.

"I thought it would be kind of nice to put in somewhere [patients] could go and get some fresh air," Gagne said.

The scouts dug up weeds that had taken over the courtyard and replaced them with shrubs, flowers and a fresh layer of mulch.  They also added new benches to the space.

Parliament Keeps It Funky For You

This week on the Seven O'Clock Sample, we are going to explore the music of Geroge Clinton and PARLIAMENT.  If James Brown is the Godfather of Soul, then George Clinton in the GrandDaddy of Funk.  His music has been sampled by many artists over the years, but Hip Hop took his music to a whole new level.  Clinton has embraced the use of his music via sampling, and has continued to support young sample based acts.

Today we are going back to the album "CLONES OF DR. FUNKENSTIEN".
