To say Milwaukee Film takes over Discovery World is an understatement. Their official Film Festival Opening Night Party kicks things off in style with a “Behind The Screen” theme. Now in its fourth year, the Milwaukee Film Festival (presented by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel) takes place over 15 days, showing nearly 200 award-quality films at the Landmark Downer Theatre, Landmark Oriental Theatre, and Fox-Bay Cinema Grill. This year’s screenings include expanded cult classics and music documentary series, the Milwaukee Children’s Film Festival, the always-popular The Milwaukee Show, and a focus on the films of China for its Passport Program, alongside the best fiction features, documentaries, and shorts on the festival circuit.
