Rockerbox, held annually in Milwaukee’s Riverwest neighborhood, is the premier, free, Midwestern motorcycle show and street party. The one day festival features a mix of Euro, Japanese and American vintage café racers, choppers, sport bikes, racers, super motos, scooters and sidecars. Last year, the five block show boasted 2,000-3,000 motorcycles and 7,000-8,000 people along with 50+ dealers and vendors of all things motorcycling.

Bastille Days, Milwaukee’s popular French festival and one of the nation’s largest French-themed celebrations, returns to downtown Milwaukee’s Cathedral Square Park, July 12 – 15. The free, four-day bash attracts over 250,000 visitors annually who enjoy live music, an international marketplace, chef and wine demos, French and Cajun cuisine, roaming busker entertainment and a signature 43-foot Eiffel Tower replica offering hourly light shows.
Historic Downer Avenue is home to one of the most famous urban criterium courses in the country. Global in reach and extremely local in flavor, The Downer Classic Pro Criterium promises to be one of the highlights of cycling in Wisconsin this summer. The full day of racing also features a popular kids' race, a Belgian Beer Festival, the famous Ben's Cyclery "Ultra Prime," as well as a full slate of racing all afternoon and evening. Food, beer, and family fun complement the twilight pro race that promises to bring pro teams and riders from around the world.
2012 will be the 12th Annual staging of the Summer Soulstice Music Festival. As in past years, this festival will feature a great line-up of bands and musicians performing original music. Music starts at 1:00pm and goes through 11:00pm. All kinds of delicious food will be served by local restaurants and vendors.

To make CARNIVALE ELECTRICOS, the members of GALACTIC (Ben Ellman, harps and horns; Robert Mercurio, bass; Stanton Moore, drums and percussion; Jeff Raines, guitar; Rich Vogel, keyboards) draw on the skills, stamina, and funk they deploy in the all-night party of their annual Lundi Gras show that goes till sunrise and leads sleeplessly into Mardi Gras day.
Fresh Cut Collective is a group of uniquely talented musicians from Milwaukee who have been building a diverse canon of music for over a decade. Specializing in high-energy live performances and the spreading of good vibes, FCC’s musical pedigree allows the group to slink in and out of genres, feels, and textures, fusing together a variety of musical forms from hip hop to classical to jazz to rock. Since their first show in December 2008 the band has played many shows in Milwaukee as well as Madison, Green Bay, Chicago, Atlanta, Travese City, Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco.
Fountains of Wayne's long-awaited new album, Sky Full of Holes, will be released in the US on August 2 via Yep Roc Records, their first release on the NC-based indie label. This is the acclaimed band's first new release since 2007's Traffic And Weather. Recorded in New York City, Sky Full of Holes features 13 new songs by Chris Collingwood and Adam Schlesinger, ranging from high-energy power pop to intimate, acoustic-driven ballads.
