88Nine RadioMilwaukee spent over week down in Austin, Texas covering SXSW. We interview countless people, artists and bands; however, one of our favorite interviews was with the Brooklyn-based band TV On The Radio. We were so happy to get a chance to talk to them about their music.
We felt this should be a special interview that we didn't want to ask the typical questions. So we decided to approach the interview differently by asking the band members if they were a non-profit (since 88Nine is a non-profit), how would TV On The Radio operate. The concept and execution turn out to be a very funny interview. As a non-profit, TV On The Radio became bakers, in which they baked "Jam Muffins". Watch the excellently produced interview with TV On The Radio as they explain the process of making their tasty "Jam Muffins". Big thanks to Josh Adams from Mindpool Live for shooting and editing the interview.
Also TV On The Radio released their new video for their song "Will Do" from their forthcoming album "Nine Types Of Lights", which is due out on April 12.
