For nearly three years, I have championed the DC based rapper Wale not only for his music but for how he marketed his music. He has been one of the artists that has played a pivotal role in making the DC music scene what it is today. Having lived their for many years, I have been really impressed with what is going on right now. One of the things I really liked about his music is that he integrated the Go-Go music into his own songs.  Go-Go is the sound of DC. This particular song and video he integrated the sound of Nigeria where his parents are from.  You can only find this track as a bonus via iTunes.  It is probably one of my favorite Wale tracks. The video is directed by another talented DC artist by the name of Tabi Bonney.  Check it out for yourself.
