Alright, most of you know I'm not a big a fan of the cold, but for some reason I want to visit all the Scandinavian countries. The music coming out of these countries are some of the most refreshing and original stuff I've heard in a long time.  Artists such as Denmark's Quadron to Sweden's Lykke Li to Iceland's Gus Gus have been a staple on my ipod and in my sets.  My fascination with Scandinavia began with Iceland and their "princess" Bjork.  Ever since then, I always wandered what was in their water supply to create such music.  Bjork is not the only artist from Iceland that is making waves.  Jonsi (Jon Thor Birgisson) of Sigur Ros has created some amazing sonic landscapes. Jonsi recently dropped his solo debut entitled simply "Go".  Check out the video for the song "Go Do".  You can stream the whole album over at NPR.  It almost makes me want to try some lutefisk...almost.
