Remember the days, when you would go over to your friend's house to hang out and listen to music? Facebook has now brought that experience to the online world.  Today, Facebook introduces the capability of friends to listen along  your friends who are currently listening to music.  This is nothing new in the online space. Turntable.fm is currentlly the reigning king of social listening.

According to Facebook, this is how it will work:

Look for the music note in the chat sidebar to see which of your friends are listening to music. To listen with a friend, hover over their name, and click the Listen With button. The music will play through the service your friend is using.

When a new song plays, you'll come along for the ride, discovering new music while your friend DJs for you. You can even chat with your friends about the music.  Facebook started the roll out of this feature today.  Would you use this feature with your Facebook friends?
