Probably one of the world's most forward thinking artists has to Iceland's Bjork. Since her first record "Debut", Bjork has push the boundaries of her music on every album. Her new album "Biophilia" is no different. Instead of just a traditional album, Bjork will release a full on mulitimedia album. Every track on the album will receive its own iPad App. The Biophilia app will be available tomorrow in the iTunes App Store. Each app/song will be an interactive game based on the song's scientific subject matter. The main Biophilia app will allow the user to get the indiviual 'game' for each of the 10 songs on her forthcoming album.
"Comprising a suite of original music and interactive, educational artworks and musical artifacts, Biophilia is released as ten in-app experiences that are accessed as you fly through a three-dimensional galaxy that accompanies the album’s theme song “Cosmogony”. All of the album’s songs gradually become available inside Biophilia as interactive experiences, beginning with the first single “Crystalline”…
