Well, the Brewers lost and it’s time to make good on our friendly wager with the fine folks at WXPN in Philadelphia. In addition to the Usinger’s brats and Sprecher root beer we are sending their way, we are also giving up an hour of our air-time. WXPN Afternoon Drive Host will join our own Scott Mullins on Wednesday at 5:00pm with a batch of Philadelphia-centric music. Given the deep, rich musical heritage of that great city, we are in for a musical treat. Tune in for music from McFadden & Whitehead, Marah, The Dead Milkmen, The Roots, Jotto and more. We certainly wish the Brewers had won....but losing never sounded so sweet.
Here is the playlist from WXPN:
"Point Breeze" - Marah
"Worst Trip" - Dr. Dog
Something produced by Gamble and Huff ("Love Train" would be nice)

Wake Up Everybody - Harold Melvin And The Blue Notes
Ain't No Stopping Us Now - McFadden & Whitehead
Punk Rock Girl - The Dead Milkmen
