Back in 2006 in Minneapolis before I shortly moved to Milwaukee, My former Rhythm Lab Radio co-host DJ Don Cuco and myself put together a benefit show at the Kitty Kat Club. The show featured many amazing artists; however. two of those artists from that night will be performing at the Cactus Club in their new form known as Poliça. The artists came from the bands Digitata and Roma Di Luna, which perform that night back in 2006.  

Fast Forward to 2011 and Ryan Olson of  Digitata, and Channy Leaneagh of Roma Di Luna formed Poliça. Both artist's bands from 2006 are no more, but their new collaboration Poliça definitely has some influences from their previous groups.  Prior to Poliça both artists were part of the super group Gayngs, which is a brainchild of Olson. Their sound reminds me of a mixture of Little Dragon and dash of Bon Iver's second album.
