We are all very excited with the amount of participants we've had with this year's awards. The excitement will build as we get ready for the RADIO MILWAUKEE MUSIC AWARDS SHOW this Tuesday night at Turner Hall Ballroom.
The awards will kick off with our annual Radio Milwaukee Music Networking Event. For the past 4 years, we’ve hosted local musicians and industry professionals for a casual get together. The goal of this meet up is to help Milwaukee bands, connect to local professionals. Our hope is that with this annual party, we can help build better relationships in Milwaukee’s music scene.
This year, Radio Milwaukee and the Yellow Phone Music Conference are teaming up to present the “Half Way To Yellow Phone” meet and greet. Yellow Phone Music Conference (YPMC) is a three day gathering of talented artists and music professionals. Yellow Phone's goal is to bring together career oriented artists and positive, forward-thinking leaders in today's music business, taking the best qualities of the larger industry conferences and downsizing them into a concentrated, quality experience with powerful, pertinent takeaways.
This mission is perfectly in line with Radio Milwaukee’s commitment to the Milwaukee music scene. So this year, we’ve decided to combine our efforts, in hopes of better assisting local talent to achieve their goals.
