Did you know that the Pabst, Turner Hall, and Riverside venues have an executive chef that cooks some of the most amazing dishes for some of the most amazing artists? Kevin Sloan is the name of this very lucky chef. A few months back, I had a chance to experience one of his culinary creations he made for the band Sleigh Bells. The meal was a Midwestern interpretation of the food that Sleigh Bells cooked on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations.
Wisconsin Foodie host, Kyle Cherek, recently sat down with Kevin Sloan and chatted about his experiences as a chef in Milwaukee.
If you plan to go to this year's premiere food & music event, Soundbites, 88Nine will be auctioning off a dinner for 6 in the green room inside the Riverside Theater prepared by executive chef Kevin Sloan. Tickets are still available to Soundbites, which will be held at the Iron Horse Hotel on January 31.
