Clearly not tired of the afrobeat theme of the week, Sound Travels kept the funk pumping well into the weekend with an ezplosion of rhythms and beats from Motherland. Once again, vintage was the key as we dug into a whole host of cuts from forgotten (and undiscovered) funk masters. While there were a fer bigger names in the set, many of these artists' works are coming to this market for the first time as a result in newfound fascination for deep funk from music connoisseurs the world over.
