For about twenty years, Latin America's most funk-fueled party, Los Amigos Invisibles has been quietly killing it. I mean not quite quiet, after all they did win a Grammy for their 2009 release Commercial. An album that had hints of P-funk(y) Rose Royce-meets-merengue in a discotheque in Caracas circa 2014; and was assuredly dope. Best part, they've got a new one.
New for 2013, Repeat After Me which just dropped March 25th on Nacional Records continues where the band left off. Their first single, "La Que Me Gusta" is pretty nice, reminds me of an 80's pop song I can't quite place...
