Staten Island's world famous P.S. 22 chorus has covered tracks by everyone from Katy Perry to Phoenix and even sang "Over The Rainbow" at the 2011 Academy Awards. Now they've recorded their first original song written by Kiarah, one of their own students. "Brother & Sister" is an ode to finding common ground when overcoming obstacles.
The state Department of Transportation will hold two informational meetings tomorrow to kick off its planning process to rebuild a 3 mile section of I94 running from 25th street, past the stadium, up to 70th street. These open-house sessions will be held at the Tommy Thompson Youth Center a State Fair Park and Burbank Elementary School from 4 to 8pm.
