The Wisconsin DOT is hopeful new technology will help ease the flow of traffic on Highway 100. Starting Tuesday, Feb 19th, this new adaptive system will be put into action on six traffic lights on Mayfair Road between Burleigh and Walnut. Video will monitor intersection and side streets-helping to determine the amount of vehicles on the road and who has been waiting the longest. DOT officials say this is the first time this technology is being used in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin election officials are testing new electronic vote counting machines that could be used in future elections.
