a.MKE: Name a street in Walkers Point, MCA preserves his legacy and the return of the DeLorean DMC-12

The City of Milwaukee is holding a contest to rename Pittsburgh Avenue in the Walker's Point neighborhood. The street will be extending into a long-vacant parcel of land planned for development with water-related companies. City guidelines for the new name can be found on the a.MKE blog later this morning.

Sara and Jeff Tow plan to swim 50 miles across Lake Michigan today to raise awareness about postpartum depression. They are starting from Two Rivers Wisconsin and are swimming to the Big Point Sable Lighthouse at Ludington State Park in West Michigan.

When the original DeLorean Motor Company went bankrupt in 1982, Stephen Wynne, an English mechanic bought the company's inventory. He wants to bring the classic DeLorean DMC-12 back as an electric car. He's made a prototype. You can check out a video of that here.
