As reported by the Washington Post, the federal government wants to create a super WiFi networks across the nation that are so powerful and broad in reach that consumers could use them to make calls or surf the internet without paying a monthly cell phone bill. The $178 billion wireless industry has launched a fierce lobbying effort to persuade policymakers to reconsider the idea.
A skeleton found beneath a Leicester car park in England has been identified as the remains of King Richard III. He died over 500 years ago in the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485. DNA taken from the skeleton matched a sample taken from a distant living relative of Richard's sister.
