Man About Town About Food & Host of WI Foodie, Kyle Cherek, dropped by the Radio Milwaukee studios to talk about the last day of the Milwaukee County Winter Farmers Market. What better way to say farewell than with an annual Farm Fresh Breakfast.
The menu includes warm brioche French toast with caramelized apples and maple syrup; sauté of winter greens, crimini mushrooms and red shallots; over-roasted root vegetables and handmade country sausage.
The participating chefs include: Justin Aprahamain, chef du cuisine at Sandford restaurant – Louise Danegelis of Lee John’s Catering – Jack Kaestner of the Oconomowoc Lake Club – Peter Sandroni of La Merenda – Andy Tenaglia of Lagniappe Brasserie.
Tickets are sold on a first-come basis. The breakfast will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. (or until food runs out). The Winter Farmers Market is held at the Tommy Thompson Youth Center at State Fair Park in West Allis.
