The second annual Winter Fest moved into the Delta Center this week as they set up everything from an indoor zip line to a roller skating rink. New activities this year include a radar "snowball" pitch, Tilt-a-Whirl, Kiddie Grand Prix and a Polar Cafe for adults. Winter Fest runs Dec 26-31st.

Sen Herb Kohl gave his farewell speech yesterday after 24 years in the U.S. Senate, thanking his fellow senators, his staff in Washington and Milwaukee and the people of Wisconsin. Kohl took office in 1989 and will end his term Jan 2nd.
