The Department of Transportation is proposing a drastic recuction for the reconstruction plans on the Zoo Interchange over the next two years. The completion date has been moved from 2018 to 2020. This is just one of several projects that would be delayed if budget numbers don't improve. More info found on our Facebook Page.

This Saturday Art vs Craft moves to a new location, the Harley-Davidson Museum. This buy-local event runs from 10am to 6pm. Dozens of local artists and crafters will be selling everything from jewelry to hand made soaps.

Wisconsin is in the process of hiring a new company to transport Medicaid and BadgerCare Plus participants to their medical appointments. LogistiCare is ending its contract with the state in mid-February, claiming it underestimated the costs involved when they signed a three-year contract with WI earlier this year. Riders and their advocates have lodged complaints against the company for poor service.

Today the Milwaukee Public Museum hosts Milwaukee's unusual holiday tradition, the lighting of the massive humpback whale skeleton that hangs over the Grand Staircase. Officials light up the whale today at 11:30am.
