This week we are looking back at the musical legacy of the late, great J-Dilla.  With today being Mardi Gras, I wanted to find a New Orleans connection.  Well, I pulled out my copy of Eddie Bo's Funky Funky New Orleans.

This album features a lot of funky breaks from the Louisiana producer, but my favorite has to be The "Humpty Dump".

That amazing drum break, was sampled by Jay Dee on Q-Tip's 1999 album Amplified.
