All throughout December, the 5 O’Clock Shadow is focusing on the best covers of 2012. One of the most popular songs of 2011/2012 has been M83’s Midnight City, so to assume there have been several good covers recorded is a safe bet. I’m not sure there’s really one better than the Saint Saviour version (though the Trails and Ways take is really good too).
So yes, it’s been a lot of exposure for this song, but the cover is worth it.
