Wright in Wisconsin: Burnham Park Houses Six Frank Lloyd Wright Homes!/Neighborhood Project Week 2

Wright in Wisconsin: Burnham Park Houses Six Frank Lloyd Wright Homes!/Neighborhood Project Week 2

Many people don't know this, but there are six Frank Lloyd Wright homes nestled in the heart of Burnham Park. Heck, I didn't even know this until I researched this story. Wow! Wright built these as part of his American System-Built Homes. These were affordable, livable spaces and can be viewed by simply driving down Historic Layton Blvd. West, heading west on Burnham Street, and voila, Frankie is there!!! I toured one of these homes, and was amazed at how his architecture still remains fresh and current even today.

Hi Harold,

Feel free to contact us at info@wrightinwisconsin. As we've been restoring the house and prepare for our next restoration, we've done lots of research. Maria

Harold E. Buchholz

I own the "sister" Frank Lloyd Wright home of the one on this page...the single level home, showing the dining room nook with table & benches.

If some one is interested in sharing and exchanging photos of these houses, it might add to our knowledge of original, furniture, and other design elements.

Feel free to contact me via this e-mail address if this is something you have an interest in.

Sincerely,

Harold E. Buchholz
