Listen: On Day 36 of 50 in Meet The Need, we head to the Clement J. Zablocki Center with Harley Davidson. On the weekend of Veterans Day, a group of employee volunteers from Harley Davidson decided to do something quite simple and meaningful -- spend a morning with friends and family, visiting with veterans from the VA and passing out souvenir snow globes donated by Harley Davidson Motor Company. Join them as they share some moments with veterans:
-Collette shares some of her experiences from the morning as well as some thoughts on the veterans in her life:
-Tom, a veteran who served for 22 years, shares why he and his family made the trip to the VA:
-Debra both organized the trip and made her first trip to the VA hospital:
-In this final piece, we hear from Brian with the VA Medical Center as well as a few of the veterans in their senior center:
This year, we ask you to adopt one or two organizations that connect with you. Learn more about the Harley Davidson Foundation at their website and the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center at their website.
