In celebration of Women’s History Month and in collaboration with Studio Lounge’s FROM HERE TO HER art exhibit, Alverno College is hosting a day of interactive learning for women in the community. The exhibit’s theme, which questions how feminine beauty and worth are defined in our culture, will be applied across workshop topics ranging from activism to art history. Register early, space is limited!

MORNING PROGRAM: 10:30 AM — 1:00 PM
+ Sex, Lies and What the Mirror Doesn’t See: Interactive Monologues with Beth Monhollen — writer, actor and founding member of the feminist theatre company, Wind-Up Dolls
+ Photo-Editing and Unreal Perfection: Workshop and Discussion with Jill Moore — professional photographer and Professor of Communications (Alverno College)

AFTERNOON PROGRAM: 2:00 — 4:30 PM
+ Representations of Women in Art History: Interactive Discussion with Nancy Lamers — Professor of Art History (Alverno College)
+ Building Bridges from Here to There: An Activism & Poetry Workshop with Margaret Rozga — poet, activist and Professor of English (UW-Waukesha)
