William Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, ‘As You Like It’ will commence July 12, as part of the BMO Harris Bank-sponsored “Shakespeare in the Park” performances this summer.

The romantic comedy, ‘As You Like It,’ features lovers Rosalind and Orlando, who hide messages for each other in the forest trees. Before each performance, attendees are invited to leave their own messages on ribbons and note cards in the trees of Alice Bertschy Kadish Park, where the performance will take place. Before each performance, attendees usually enjoy the view and picnic in the park, with seating available for 150-170 in the terrace and grass seating available adjacent to the terrace.

Located at the Selig-Joseph-Folz Ampitheatre at Alice Bertschy Kadish Park (adjacent to COA Youth & Family Center, 909 E. North Ave), these performances are free and open to the public. Terrace seating is available at 7 p.m. each night of the performance, with the show beginning at 8 p.m.

These free performances will open Friday, July 12. The performance dates will run from Friday, July 12 through Sunday, July 14 and Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21.
