The Milwaukee Art Museum's Friends of Art welcomes the return of summer with its ever-popular lakeside event, the Lakefront Festival of Art. Both inside the Museum and outdoors, under cover of a state-of-the-art tent, festivalgoers can visit one-on-one with more than 170 jury-selected artists as they explore their jewelry, paintings, ceramics, metalwork, and more.
There are a number of activities on the Museum grounds, from hands-on, interactive fun in the Children’s Area to live music, the Milwaukee Magazine Wine Garden, Blue Moon Beer Garden, Silent Art Auction, sculpture garden, food offerings, and more. The event is held rain or shine.
