When Eva Gabrielsson’s memoir of her life with Stieg Larsson came out last June, fans were delighted to learn more about Larsson’s life and his inspiration behind the characters and themes of his internationally best-selling Millennium series. But the story also captivated readers with its raw, heartbreaking account of a woman dealing suddenly with the loss of her life-long love. Eva will be in Milwaukee, presenting the new paperback of her best selling memoir "There Are Things I Want You to Know" about Stieg Larsson and Me at Boswell Book Company, on June 6th.
The paperback edition features a new preface which Gabrielsson specifically addresses to North American readers, in response both to the many letters and emails she received after her tour here last June, and to her concern about the growing commercialization of Larsson’s characters.
Eva Gabrielsson is an architect, author and political activist. In addition to working with Stieg Larsson on his writing projects, she is the coauthor of several books. As an activist, she works to stop violence against women.
