Emery Blagdon: The Healing Machine features a partial re-creation of the artist's original art environment, a shed in which hundreds of paintings and mixed-media sculptures were arranged and rearranged over the course of 33 years. The creation stemmed from the artist's belief that the Earth's natural energies could be harnessed and used to relieve pain and cure illness. In addition to this amazing installation, exceptional works of art from other sections of the shed environment will be on view throughout the gallery.
