Young people at the non-profit Lead2Change are deciding how to spend $10,000 to improve the community.
The program is called Dream Big!, and the young leaders will award two $5,000 grants to youth-led organizations.
Right now, they're pouring over proposals and deciding which ideas are the most thoroughly researched and will make the biggest impact. The decisions are made completely by young people betweens grades 8 and 12.
The program is in its third year.
Youth at Lead2Change have made their final decisions, but it will remain confidential until a gala event August 9th.
