President Barack Obama will hit the road again to talk about jobs and the economy. Obama will return to Knox College in Illinois on Wednesday to kick off a series of speeches about his economic plan. The trip will wrap up before Washington faces another debt-ceiling deadline around the end of September.

As the city of Milwaukee prepares to play host to two of the most prestigious triathlon races of the year, samples of the inner harbor along the swimming portion of the race in Lake Michigan are yielding low levels of bacteria. Thousands of athletes and spectators are expected to flock to the lakefront the weekend of Aug 10th, for USA Triathlon's Age Group Olympic-Distance and Sprint National Championships.

The U.S. Navy reported two U.S. military aircraft released four bombs near the Great Barrier Reef off the Australian coast last week. The Marine panes abandoned the bombs in the national park because they were running out of fuel and could not land with them onboard. None of the bombs were armed as explosives and were dropped in a deep channel inside of the reef to minimize damage to the habitat.

As reported by the Milwaukee Business Journal, Developer Robert Joseph paid the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design $2 million for the former Eisner Museum in the 3rd Ward and plans to renovate it for 20 apartments and new office space by early 2014. Joseph said the 18,000-square-foot space design on the first two floors will remain mostly untouched but the basement will be transformed into a 25-stall parking lot.
