Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday approved a draft bill for the annexation of Crimea. Former Soviet President Gorbachev hailed Crimea's vote to join Russia as a "happy event".

The Milwaukee Wave received notification from the Major Indoor Soccer League offices that the MISL is restructuring and may not have an upcoming 2014-15 season. Four of the seven teams have voluntarily resigned from the MISL with the intent of joining the PASL, Premier Arena Soccer League, a 20-team league which is now the largest Professional Indoor Soccer league in the U.S.

WI Assembly Speaker Robin Vos is working to undercut a bill that would require health plans to provide the same coverage for expensive chemo drugs that are taken at home as the coverage given to chemotherapy administered through IV's. The bill that would cover these pills has bipartisan support of his house. 29 states, including Iowa, Illinois and Minnesota, have passed their own laws requiring insurance companies to treat oral chemo drugs the same as other chemo, with little or no effect on premium costs.

Brewers fans are lining up to meet the team's biggest star of spring training, Hank the dog. Hank is scheduled to make his Miller Park debut at 7am today. Fans can start buying official Hank T-Shirts, buttons, bumper stickers and pennants, as a portion of the sales will be donated to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
