The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County will host their annual Christmas Family Feast from 11am to 2:30pm Christmas Day at the Wisconsin Center District, 400 W Wisconsin Avenue. Organizers are preparing to serve from 8 to 10,000 people. The event, which is free and open to the public, is the largest feeding program hosted by the Salvation Army in the nation.
The Milwaukee School of Engineering will soon offer a new education-oriented MBA. MSOE is one of two institutions in the country chosen to pioneer the Woodrow Wilson MBA Fellowship in Educational Leadership. After a dozen finalists took the stage at City Hall last night and pitched their ideas for the Creational Trails project, two winners were chosen by a panel of jurors. The Creational Trails project is a public art initiative that will take place this summer and fall along 10 blocks of W. Wisconsin Avenue. Mayor Tom Barrett was released from the Wheaton Franciscan Wisconsin Heart Hospital on Tuesday, two days after he overexerted himself completing a 20K run at the Pettit National Ice Center. Barrett is expected to return to work today.
