The Milwaukee Health Department, Winged Victory, 2-1-1 social services hotline and Covering Kids and Families would help with outreach to help low-income residents learn how to apply for health coverage at a new online federal insurance exchange. 17,000 WI residents will loose their BadgerCare benefits on Jan 1st.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change will release their results of a benchmark study on global warming. 1,000 researchers from around the world worked on the document, which concludes that human activity has caused at least half of climate change in the last 50 years. The full report will be available for viewing online on Monday.

Major League Baseball commissioner and former Milwaukee Brewers owner Allan "Bud" Selig will retire in January 2015. Selig has been the acting commissioner of Major League Baseball since 1992 and was permanently named to the position in 1998.
