As 2013 comes to a close, Pollstar released its annual top 20 list of top-grossing tours of this year. In second place, earning $188.6 million is Beyonce. And the top grossing tour in 2013....Bon Jovi earning $259.5 million and breaking a record for the band itself.

Paul Krajniak, Executive Director of Discovery World Museum, announced he will retire at the end of 2014.  Krajniak has been with Discovery World since it opened 31 years ago at a Boys & Girls Club and helped launch exhibits such as Les Paul's House of Sound and the Kohl's Design-It! Lab.       

As reported by the MBJ: The Urban Ecology Center outbid several housing developers to buy a large site along the Milwaukee River. The 4.5 acre site is a recycling facility near the UEC's Riverside Park branch formely run by Pieter Godfrey, an urban ecologist who died in 2011.

For the first time, consumers can conveniently read recent restaurant inspection reports from the four-county Milwaukee region all in one place. The Journal Sentinel's restaurant inspections data base shows food safety violations for restaurants in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington and Ozaukee counties, with some records going back to January 2012.
