Bob Marley has had a long-lasting impact not only in music but also on life. In honor of his birthday today, the 5 O'Clock shadow got selected off Marley's 1974 release Natty Dread with the track "No Woman, No Cry". The cover is done by The Fugees, who do a really good job of making it their own. Wyclef Jean personalizes this track, not only in the sound of hip-hop that kind of characterized the late '90s, but also in several "Brooklyn, New York, Jersey" references throughout the cover. Enjoy both selections below.
